Do you sea me?

The distortions and reflections in the water kept me coming back to this photo over and over. The way the light hits the folds in the fabric and the tanned skin with a painter's hand enchants me.

The former or the ladder

Enchanted Tree

This tree overlooks Enchanted Rock, a granite mountain in Texas. There are many legends around this place and campers report mysterious happenings to this day. Enchanted Rock State Park truly lives up to its name; casting its spell on all those who have the priviledge of visiting.

Screaming Tree

All trees have stories to tell. This one seemed to wail at me as I passed. In Destin, Forida, I met an old man who walked the beach cleaning up trash every morning to honor the memory of his best friend that had died while fishing thirty years ago. It continues its crying in Destin, Florida.

Iced petal

This flower petal seems to float endlessly frozen in time. It was frozen in minutes during the icy weather that left Texans wondering what would happen to them if the power or water never came back on.

Bloom n bubbles

The bubbles frozen in this image send levity to the viewer as they float atop a flower sunken and frozen in ice.

When Texas froze over

This was a profound moment during the Texas freeze that made headlines in early 2021. Spring had already began. This oak was sent into shock when its hopeful baby sprigs were frozen; along with the entire State of Texas.

Thoughtful Dead Head

The man in the photo is thoughtful; intent on something out of the scene. The shadow of his crossed leg underlines another leg belonging to a skeleton depicted in the mural he leans against.

Life of the party

The glitter on the clothes of the dancers creates a light painting. It gives a sense of the magic made when people dance together.
